Alliance Duel: Friday
1. Overview
Day 5 (Friday) of the Alliance Duel is the Holistic Growth day. This is one of the most versatile days because it rewards almost every form of progression: Troop Training & Promotion, Construction, Research, and Radar Events.
The secret to a massive score on Friday isn't what you do on Friday, but the preparation you've done all week long.
2. Preparation
Proper preparation is the key to outscoring your opponents:
- The "Level Below" Strategy: Throughout the week (Monday to Thursday), do not train your maximum level troops. Instead, train troops that are one level below your maximum (e.g., if you can train T9, train T8). On Friday, promote all of them to your maximum level. This grants massive points for a fraction of the time and resources.
- Hoard Speedups: Save your Universal, Training, Research, and Construction speedups for Friday. Every minute used gives 131 points (one of the highest rates in the duel).
- Radar Management: We have to keep the Radar Events from Thursday so you can claim them on Friday. There are a few events that expire in the morning, so we have to complete them on Thursday. This can potentially double the number of radar events you can complete on Friday.
- Hero Laura: Updating the hero Laura is a good way to get more radar events (up to 20 extra per day).
- Capital Positions: If you have major upgrades finishing, apply for Secretary of Construction or Secretary of Science at the Capital to maximize speed.
3. How to Score Points

Strategy: Promoting a massive stack of "one-level-below" troops is the most efficient way to hit your point goals. Using Training Speedups today is highly recommended as every minute spent counts toward your score.

Strategy: Friday is the best day to use any banked Universal Speedups. Whether you are building, researching, or training, the speedup usage itself is a major point source.
3.3 Radar Events

Strategy: Simply clear your radar throughout the day. If you have the hero Laura upgraded, those extra 20 events will provide a significant boost without consuming any resources.
4. When to do it (Golden Hour)
The most efficient time to use your resources is during the Golden Hour.
- Check the Full Preparedness schedule.
- Look for the Army Expansion, Shelter Upgrade, or Age of Science tasks.
- When these tasks are active, use your corresponding speedups and resources. You will max out your Full Preparedness chests while simultaneously putting huge points on the board for the Alliance Duel.
